Meet the mascots
Five friends for five stages of learning
Every child on KP Educate learns alongside a character made for their age. The mascot greets them by name, stays on their side when an answer is wrong, and marks every win. Here they all are.

One friend per stage
A child does not get one mascot for their whole time with us. They get the one built for where they are now, and move on to the next as they grow. Five year olds and fourteen year olds need very different company.

Key Stage 1
Pip
Pip is the friend who has a go first and claps loudest when you get there. He is gentle, cheerful and quietly brave, and he keeps things simple: one idea at a time, in words a five year old can read on their own.

Lower Key Stage 2
Nia
Nia reads the question twice and works it out beside you. She is thoughtful and steady, pleased when you get it and just as calm when you do not, so a wrong answer never feels like a big deal.

Upper Key Stage 2
Milo
Milo wants to know how things work. He treats you as a fellow investigator, so every question becomes something worth finding out rather than a test to pass.

Kai
Kai has already sat the paper and knows the tricks. He is direct and calm, speaks to you as someone clever, and keeps you focused: read the question twice, then decide.

Key Stage 3
Ari
Ari is more of an emblem than a talking buddy. She turns up on badges, certificates and the corner of the screen, never in a speech bubble, because at this age a quiet nod means more than a cheer.

What a mascot is actually for
They are not decoration. Each one has a job to do at the moments that shape how a child feels about learning.
They greet the child by name
The dashboard opens with the mascot saying hello and pointing at what to do next. A child who logs on alone is never met by an empty screen.
They stay on the child's side
A wrong answer brings the mascot in with "Not yet, try again", never a frown and never a red cross. Being wrong is part of learning, and the mascot makes sure it feels that way.
They mark the wins
Finishing a lesson, earning a badge, completing a course: the mascot is there for each one. Rewards are for finishing work, never for speed and never for beating another child.
